Corvara

Corvara is the largest of a collection of Villages that form the Alta Badia valley in the heart of the Dolomites. Not only does it have extensive slopes of its own, but the resort is also on the famous Sellaronda ski circuit and part of the enormous Dolomiti Superski area which links the Alta Badia to many other resorts including Arabba, San Cassiano and Selva to name only three.

Dolomiti Superski

The Dolomiti superski area was created in 1974, it is spread over an area of about 3,000 km2 in the North-East of Italy, and includes most of the winter ski slopes of the Dolomites. Comprising 12 ski resorts and a total of 1,246 km of slopes, it is the largest ski area in the world. It regularly hosts World Cup alpine skiing and snowboarding races.

Sellaronda

The spectacular Dolomite peaks and legendary passes of the Sella massif offer year round opportunities for road cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers and climbers alike.

The area is also world renowned for its ‘Via Ferrata’, used during the Great War to allow soldiers to traverse the high peaks.
